RC racers raring to try out track

There will be some excited racers at this Saturday’s Collie Off-Road Race Championships after the first round of the season was rained off.

Local racers have had a chance to brush up their skills at the weekly Thursday night racing sessions, but this will be the first time the interclub racers will have had a chance to have a go at the re-surfaced track.

Racers of all ages and abilities are welcome, and hire cars are available on request.

Track opens at 11:30, Nominations start at 12 noon, and racing commences at 1pm. The track is fully lit and racing will conclude about 7pm, so expect the last races to be in twilight.

Race nomination fees are $5 per car for members and $10 per class for non-members.

Free entry for spectators. Canteen open from 11.30am.
